I just looked up thanfiction on fanlore and the first paragraph alone was so much. Then I did a quick ctrl+f on the homicide mentioned and saw the way they updated their FFN profile in 2013.

I have known my fair share of dramatic people in my life, but thanfiction is an entire folio. holy fuck. the mind boggles.

Yeah, I used they/them because I didn't read enough of the page to catch pronouns. I might suggest we add it to the info boxes actually... Hmm. Topic for a future fanlore meeting agenda lol.

But yeah. Between this guy in Cassie Clare and MsScribe and now apparently flamethrower, I'm kind of wondering what it is about Harry Potter that all of these people ended up in there eventually. Probably just the sheer size of it at the time, right?

Yeah, I think HP is just big, on the mainstream side, and has been around forever, so the Really Weird Ones will tend to accumulate eventually.
