 I started off strong over here on DW and now I'm flagging. Sorry about that. These days I can only sustain active engagement with other human beings for so long before I need to recuperate XD

Starting strong and flagging is pretty normal for shiny new stuff xD Now you just gotta find a rhythm you can maintain. I've only posted once on my blog as well, and then I had that classical "oh I should have just shut up about it", so I'm having that urge to delete it hahaha

I guess the remedy for that is simply posting more, until I'm more comfortable with sharing some stuff.

I follow people here who only post once every few months and it's a pleasure to see something new every time, I don't care how long it's been! There's no required posting schedule!! And if there was, it'd certainly be less intense than what's expected on twitter or tumblr. Take it easy and I hope you find a sustainable and pleasant way to make this space your own :) There shouldn't be any pressure, really, there's nothing to apologise for here. <3

Aw, that's normal. As others have said, you just need to find a rhythm. You don't need to post every day or reply to every comment and if you're coming back after a break you don't need to read back that far on your reading page. Post when you've got something you want to share, don't post if you're not feeling it.

I think you're doing fine! People don't really expect nonstop posts or instant replies here. The pace of DW is a little slower, like a small town. :)

You don’t need to be constantly posting stuff here, do whatever works for you! (I feel like Dreamwidth is more likely than tumblr to have people posting only periodically or not on any kind of schedule)
